Pajamas

I whipped up a pair of flannel pajama bottoms the other day. The pattern couldn't be easier, just four pieces of fabric and a drawstring, and would be a perfect first sewing project for a beginner.

I used a sweet baby elephant fabric. If you can't go whimsical with your PJs, when can you?

In fact, PJs are one of the very few things that I can sew! Although I do elastic, rather than a drawstring. And normally I buy them ;). But I HAVE made them, and I CAN make them if I want to.

A drawstring is even easier because you don't have to sew it closed. Plus you can easily adjust the fit each time you put your PJs on! :)
