WOW. Your challah braids are much, much better than mine have ever been. I can't seem to get the hang of it! How many strands did you use to braid? I generally use 4, have tried 6 with really not luck at all...and even my 3's look sad.
Tam, we each had one bread to make (and then made dough to take home). Mine was the focaccia, so I can't answer questions about the challah. But didn't the challah baker do a nice job?

Oh!! It's almost cruel to post these photos, even though I'm glad you did. It looks like an awesome place, and those breads look absolutely delicious.
Did you sample all of them? Did you have a favourite?
I sampled almost all of them. (I think someone may have absconded with one of the quick breads.)
I spotlighted my three favorites: challah, focaccia, and (the overwhelming favorite of almost everyone there) the glorious sticky buns.
They're *almost* too pretty to eat.

I am completely tortured. The challah looks especially delicious!
Tam, I looked up the class challah recipe, and it calls for three strand braids.
